Valentine’s BROOKIES 💘

Cut out your cookie hearts: Flatten each ball of Sweet Loren’s sugar cookie dough with your hands and use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to make hearts. Set them aside (You can absolutely use your own sugar cookie recipe too!).

Prepare the brownie layer: Make the Simple Mills brownie mix according to the box instructions. Grease a glass baking dish with coconut oil and pour in the brownie batter. Optionally, add a handful of Enjoy Life chocolate chunks for extra goodness.

Par-bake the brownies: Bake the brownies alone for about 10 minutes so they can start setting.

Add the cookie hearts: Pull the pan out of the oven, place your sugar cookie hearts on top of the brownies, and return to the oven.

Finish baking: Bake until fully done using the time listed on the brownie mix box. You’ll be able to tell when everything is set and cooked through. Tip: The recipe creator only used 6 hearts because of the size of the pan and cookie cutter. If you want more cookies on top, use a larger rectangular baking dish!

Decorate: Once cooled, add Unreal chocolate candies (just the pink + purple ones if desired) and some dye-free Valentine sprinkles.
